What is MIXED?

In mixed league, a woman and man play doubles together. Each match consists of three separate matches of doubles (three “lines”). Therefore, six players on each team play in a match, three women and three men.

Why?

This league provides players the opportunity to exercise, meet new people, or share an activity with their other half.

Details

  • The combined levels of each doubles pair cannot exceed the team level.  No individual team can be separated by more than 0.5 in NTRP level.  An example is a 5.0 and 3.0 cannot play together at the 4.0 level, but a 3.5 and a 4.0 can.
  • In the Mixed 18 & Over Division, the winners of each local league may progress to a State championship, a Sectional championship and then on to a National championship
  • In the Mixed 40 & Over Division, the winners of each local league may progress to a State championship, a Sectional championship and then on to a Regional championship
